Non Technical Internships

30$F offers non-paid internships around the year. The duration is flexible. This internship gives a candidate an excellent opportunity to get experience with a non-profit, and simultaneously learn and get exposed to the challenges and harsh realities of the people in rural India. The location for this internship is flexible. You can work from your current location.

Head of 30DF volunteer cell

This individual will play a critical role in bringing on new volunteers and supporting the growth of 30DF's volunteer programs. He/She will recruit volunteers, and will help welcome them and provide information about 30DF's volunteer teams. The volunteer manager will also create and assign tasks to the volunteers. This individual will oversee and manage the activities of all the 30DF volunteers. This individual is a self-starter who loves interacting with a wide range of people, is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, and loves to learn.

Fundraising coordinator

This individual will play a leading role in creating and implementing the 30DF's fundraising programs. This individual will be responsible for hosting several fundraising events over a period of time. He/She will recruit necessary number of volunteers for each event. The coordinator may use the existing 30DF volunteer base for these activities. The coordinator will be contacting corporations and business to solicit donations of products. This individual will also be responsible for creating action/brainstorming ideas with the 30DF management team every month. This individual must have good people skills and communication skills and should work well as a team. Attention to detail and an awareness of what is going on around are essential. Good judgment and decision making skills are necessary.

Corporate Liaison

This position will be responsible for supporting strategic advancement and engagement with corporate partners and donors in acquiring new and stewarding existing corporate donors. Responsibilities will include researching new corporate prospects, helping to track and fulfill sponsorship benefits, and develop stewardship updates and materials. Intern will prepare research and apply for various corporate grants. He/She will also research and prepare briefings on new potential partners for 30DF. The candidate must be detail oriented and be able to multi-task. Must be comfortable speaking to donors and prospects over the phone and in person (some public speaking opportunities may arise)

Social Media coordinator

This person will be responsible for spreading awareness about the various 30DF activities in the various popular social media websites, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Orkut, MySpace. The candidate should be a motivated individual with experience and passion for blogging, micro-blogging and community participation leadership. The intern spreads word about 30DF on Internet based social networks by engaging our members through competitions, contests and campaigns. The person would post official bulletin messages on all channels once a month from 30DF's management team. Will identify key metrics and track growth on all channel. The candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.
