Our development cycle is extremely fast, and we've built tools to keep it that way. It's common to write code and have it running on the live site a few days later.

User Interface Engineer
30$F is seeking User Interface Engineers who are passionate about building user-facing web applications.

Responsibilities

• Work with users, Management team and Software Engineers to implement the next generation of 30$F innovation
• Build efficient and reusable front-end abstractions and systems
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks
• Participate in design and code reviews

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)
• Experience working with HTML/CSS/JS in high-performance environments
• Passion for elegant and intuitive user interfaces

Software Engineer
30$F is seeking Software Engineers who are passionate about creating impact by writing code. This position will help build the next-generation system behind 30$F's website.

Responsibilities

• Create web applications using primarily JSP/Servlets
• Code high-volume backend software using Java
• Implement web interfaces using XHTML, CSS, Javascript and Ajax

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of J2EE web technologies (JSP/Servlets)
• Expertise with C++ and/or Java
• Knowledge of struts and hibernate framework is a plus
• Knowledge of Ajax is a plus
